Edesia is dedicated to research that broadens access to nutritional solutions. By collaborating with respected researchers, academic institutions, field organizations and governments, Edesia addresses gaps in distribution systems and conducts research to optimize the use of products.

By focusing on preventive products, Edesia works to meet the needs of vulnerable populations whose daily nutritional requirements are not currently being addressed. Edesia is especially dedicated to increasing the focus on Central and South America and on social marketing.

The Industrial Revelation Project in Tanzania is partnered with the USAID-funded Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance (FANTA-2) research project. They are currently implementing a study on a nutritional supplement social marketing project.

We are studying the marketing mix of local taste, product name, price, and nutrition so that the supplement is customized for the Tanzanian population and sold at a price that is affordable to the masses.
